Persons attending the course will go through theory as well as perform practical exercises. The participants will learn how to configure end equipment in order to set up a local area network by connecting them to a hub and a switch. They will learn how to configure switches, analyse traffic in the network and learn to use some network tools.

Target audience

The target audience is any person who needs to know the basics about data communication in a company network and on Internet.

Prerequisites

The students should have basic computer knowledge before attending this course. The students do not need to have any knowledge about data communication in advance.

Exercises

This is a theoretical training with practical exercises.

NOTE: This course is not delivered with the FoldOut methodology.
