5G

There may not yet be a single commonly agreed view on what 5G exactly is, but it is clear that the evolution of mobile broadband is about to enter a new phase. New frequency spectrum, new radio with tight integration with LTE and WiFi and further steps into cloud architecture, NFV and SDN are required to meet the needs for e.g. evolved mobile broadband (eMBB), ultra reliable low latency services (URLLC) and massive machine type communication (mMTC).Obviously IoT (Internet of Things) is part of all this, with 3GPP standardization efforts like NB-IoT and LTE-M.
