IMS and VoLTE Training

IMS or IP Multimedia Subsystem was created by 3GPP for VoIP telephony over mobile networks. It was produced to be used in 3G, but has mostly been used in fixed networks until the advent of 4G (LTE) which really made IMS able to do its job the way it was meant to in the original standards. Combining 4G mobile data access with VoIP in the form of IMS servers (using the SIP standard) we get Voice over LTE, or VoLTE. VoLTE is the major future-proof, standardized technology for mobile telephony, anywhere in the world
