NB-IoT and LTE-M Duration: 2 days

NB-IoT and LTE-M

CONTENT

The NB-IoT and LTE-M course provides an in-depth overview of the various aspects of the new LTE-based radio technologies specified for Machine-to-Machine communication (M2M) for the Internet of Things (IoT) over the cellular 3GPP networks.

The training starts with an overview of new network elements, radio additions and features for LTE-M and NB-IoT operations. Then the significant part of the course describes some details of the radio interface layout, channels, procedures, changes to legacy LTE radio, etc. This is followed by mobility enhancements, power saving features and new core network procedures available for device communication.
