CONTENTS

This course provides a thorough overview of 5G Network Slicing, which is an important feature and functionality of the 3GPP 5G System.

The course starts from the overview of 5G System and general concept of Network Slicing, followed by the 3GPP implementation, the parameters, related Core Network and Access Network functions and elements, working procedures, mobility scenarios and other related features. The course is based on the latest 3GPP R16 technical specifications and technical reports.

PREREQUISITES

Basic knowledge of the overall 5G System is highly recommended. Good 5G background knowledge is provided e.g. by Apis 5G System Overview course.
