Software Defined Networking

Software Defined Networking, or SDN, is changing the global network management landscape. It is a revolution that no-one in either the telecom or the datacommunications industries will be able to disregard. A central part of this revolution is played by the Open Networking Foundation(ONF) and our new course – SDN and Open Networking – is the perfect technical introduction to their take on what SDN really is.

It covers the TCP/IP world SDN intends to control, the history and benefits of SDN, the technical Ecosystem created by SDN, the OpenFlow protocol in some detail, and a large number of open source SDN resources, tools and applications. It is designed to give the students as good a chance as possible of passing the ONF-Certified SDN Associate (OCSA) certification, following the curriculum outlined by the ONF in detail.

First scheduled event: 15-16 December 2016 in Stockholm
